Finding solutions for your communication and language needs – together.
On this page I’d like to tell you a bit more about me. Having always had a passion for different languages and cultures, and the process of mediating between them, I studied translation at Heidelberg University, and graduated with a master’s degree in Translation Studies in 2017. Having specialised in technical translation, my degree programme had a particular focus on economic and technical translation, and included specialist courses on the translation of financial reports, insurance documents, marketing documentation, and software localisation. On the basis of personal experience, I also offer translation of medical texts relating to diabetes. I consistently refresh my knowledge in each of these fields to ensure that my technical and linguistic understanding is up-to-date.
Thanks to the long periods I’ve spent living and working in countries where the languages I translate are spoken (France, Belgium, Italy, and New Zealand), I have been able to develop sound linguistic and cultural knowledge. Constantly looking to develop my skills, I continue to study and engage with these cultures on a daily basis.
As part of my work as a translator, I maintain contact with colleagues and clients around the world. Such collaboration enables me to benefit from others’ experience and so find the best possible solutions for my clients.
In my leisure time, I like to travel and practice karate, both of which help me to stay focussed, determined, balanced, and serene in and outside of work!
